I’m Not Over You

I think I’ll know when I’m over it
When I stop looking for you in glass pools
And stained pages.

When I legitimately fail
To recognize your face
On the corner of West and Third,
When you stop
Being the first thing I think of
In the morning.

I’ll be over it then
And with a twinge of regret I’ll feel until then,
The feel that
It’s not over
At least,
Not yet.

I’m Not Over You
