Give me a scale or something
Because we love to put weight on everything,
From pounds to grading scales
To the way we see people as
Zero to ten, let me know,
But what you see in me
I don’t see in you-
And you best friend has brighter eyes
Than you could ever dream to have.
Since beauty is a lot like
Calculating the mass of the universe
Solely with addition and subtraction-
How about you give up
And take a break from all of this judging?
If looks are the first thing that makes your heart flutter
Then I guess you’re screwed in
Thirty years or so,
When everyone starts to sadly lose
That fervor of youth.
