Mirages Without An Oasis

I wonder,
Could we once again sit
As we did once before,
On the steps of the racing track
And enjoy bubble tea
While the sky turned darker and darker?
I wonder if you have ever felt a thing for me
And I’m sure that you’ll laugh it off
No matter what I try to do.

The memories I face leave scars
Just light enough so that I
Can only see them in certain angles.
If I lean over
And let my hair blow
In the summer wind,
Maybe I can once again
Feel like a princess.

Feelings aren’t meant to be described,
They’re meant to be spoken
And I have no other choice
But to stick it out until
They’re gone.
