Macintosh Drafts

Writing moods are sad moods.
Every time I write a slew of words,
Angry phrases mixed with blue sarcasm
And damp pages,
Think of it as ways to give you apologies
That I am too proud to admit,
That I care too little about
To say in person.

Instead, like the times we
Don’t even spend talking in person, remember—
This is just the norm for us,
Talking without really
Talking at all.
